I’m tired. Just when I was getting into a groove with the second trimester, the third trimester kicked in and I am exhausted. Maybe it’s just the Monday blah’s but I have been ready for bed since 6pm. I have about ten and a half weeks left of this pregnancy and am feeling a little overwhelmed. Daily my moods jump from super motivated and wanting to tackle project after project to only wanting a pillow and some peace and quiet. I really want to stay active but I have so many contractions after every little workout that I am starting to fear that I'm going to have to listen to my body and stop until after the baby comes. Anyway, enough whining from me, let me tell you a little about what the kids have been up to these days.

Today we decided to work on the potty training a little more with Max and see where that gets us. It might work, but then again, it might not. He's 0-1 so far. Max finally felt the baby move a few weeks ago. The baby actually kicked him in the head as he was lying with his head on my belly. He was quite surprised by it! The look on his face had all of us laughing. Just now (as I was getting frustrated trying to get logged into this site) Max said, "Mommy, I love you." It was so sweet. I love that boy.

Evie is really getting bigger. She decided to draw a picture of the whole family today. She drew herself and me with super long princess hair and Max with short hair. Then as she was drawing Craig she commented on how she needed to draw his bald spot. Too funny! Of course, she drew the baby in her arms. Evie attended the Sibling Preparation class offered by the hospital where we will have this baby last week. At the class the kids learned how to check their toys with a toilet paper roll to see if they are too small for the baby to play with. The next day Evie got an empty toilet paper roll and began checking all of the toys she could find. I think she will be a huge help to Craig and I once this kid arrives.

We have been pretty busy these days. I’m not even going to attempt a recap of the last several weeks. The best thing to come from the last month is that Craig got a new job. I know, you’re probably thinking…again?? The job he has had for the last year has been a great experience for him in the fact that he learned a lot about a lot of things. However, it was not working for our family or for Craig personally. We spent much of the last year without Craig home many evenings due to the amount of time the job required. Beyond that it just wasn’t something he was happy doing. He has started a new job in Human Resources – Staff Benefits as a data and financial analyst. He spent the last two weeks splitting his time between the old and new job and is finally full time in HR as of today. gs I have compared the transition as going from Eeyore to Tigger. He’s just so much happier!

I'm going to attempt more regular posts to try and keep everyone updated on what we're up to and how things are going as we await the arrival of the mystery baby.

I hear ya, friend! I am SO tired, too! You are doing an amazing job holding it all together and are a great mommy and friend. You can do it - only ten more weeks!!!!
