We have been busy this August! Craig started back into his Weekend MBA program on the 16th and Evie turned 5 on the 20th. Max’s birthday is the 1st of September. We are now halfway through the birthday party extravaganza that occurs toward the end of every August. It’s always fun, but oh so exhausting! Evie started swim lessons and gymnastics last week. Dance class starts back up in a couple of weeks. Generally I try to limit her activities to two at a time, but swimming and dance will overlap for about 2 weeks. I can’t believe how much she’s grown as it seems like just yesterday she was the wiggly one in my belly. Now she’s a popstar princess girl that loves to learn and can be so sweet to her little brother. My mom put it best when she dubbed Max a rambunctious, center-of-attention, sword-fighting all-boy. I am thrilled to say that boy is now officially potty trained with just the occasional accident. Yippee! I can’t believe we will go two whole months without buying diapers!
Besides that we have been busy “spring” cleaning to prepare for the baby to come. We will start pulling out and cleaning all the baby stuff after next weekend’s birthday party. Then we can begin the countdown…
